Call for Speakers

The deadline for submitting a proposal for a 20-minute presentation (showcase), a workshop or a general speech was October 15th, 2010.

However, we still welcome your proposal to share your knowledge, skills and expertise and show your presentation/workshop/general speech to meeting planners, speaking bureaus and colleques.
You can be the first one on our reserve list!

The selection committee will select presenters using the online forms.

Presenter Agreement

All GSS presenters are required to complete this information so that we can:

accurately describe and promote your presentation
arrange the facilities and audio-visual support you need
and assure that you agree and comply with GSS’s presenter guidelines

Audio-Visual

In every room we will provide for a:

projector, a PC (laptop) and a screen
lectern with microphone
1 wireless lavaliere (tie clip) microphone
a small draped table for water and miscellaneous items

Room Set Up

The room set up will be theatre style, so the maximum of persons can attend the presentation.

In case you need any additional equipment or another room set up, you can indicate it on the form.

Tips for submitting a winning proposal

The information you submit must be filled in at the online form
Don’t send any supplemental materials. A decision to invite your participation is based only on the online form
If you want to submit more than one presentation for consideration, use separate forms for each presentation
By pressing the button called ‘Store entries, finish later’ next to the submit button, you can quit the form. We will then provide an access code to re-enter the (partly filled) form later on for further completion
Be sure and note the submission deadline for the meeting. The selection committees are not able to consider proposals that come in after the deadline of 1 October 2010
