Wendy Russell

Best known as the creator and TV host of HGTV Canada’s She’s Crafty, Wendy Russell is one fun, talented and creative woman. Crafting was something Wendy loved to do as a child and young adult, but spent the better part of her 20’s waiting for Hollywood to call as she pursued a career in acting. She pushed crafting aside in order to do it. Well, Hollywood only called a couple of times, which wasn’t enough to fulfill her (or pay the bills, frankly). What was filling her was food and copious amounts of it, in the form of the lesser known eating disorder, “compulsive overeating”. Wendy quickly realized what she was doing to herself and got back to creating gifts for friends and family instead of overeating. Because creativity healed her, she knew it could heal others. Hence, She’s Crafty was born. Wendy’s fun, inspirational and transformational talks are all about sharing her passion for living an authentic, fulfilling, creative life!
