Peter S. Cooper

Iconoclastic, irreverent, entrepreneurial adventurer/philosopher, Peter S. Cooper, has spent more than half his life living outside his native California, travelling to distant lands and experiencing, first-hand, what it’s like to live and work both within and across a variety of cultures. His many adventures have helped shape his concept of being a guerrilla globalist™ and he has written a manifesto to inspire others to positively engage with different societies and learn from them. Peter sees his form of globalisation being quite different from that promoted by multinational companies and other organisations in that he promotes the use of ancient Asian concepts to forge links between groups by understanding their differences and then focusing on areas that they have in common to create mutual trust and respect between parties, bringing them closer together. A successful entrepreneur, Peter shares his skills through his entertaining and often humorous public presentations and well as facilitating a range of professional skills workshops, internationally. Those attending these events say they have been motivated and inspired by his philosophies.
