 Named the 2004 Distinguished Scholar by the International Center for Performance Excellence at West Virginia University, Dr. Paul G. Schempp is an expert on expertise.  As a Professor at the University of Georgia, he has spent over a decade conducting award-winning research into the characteristics and development of expertise.  The author of six books, including the award winning 5  Steps to Expert: How to go from Business Novice to Elite Performer (Davies Black Publishers), over 100 articles, and having delivered more than 250 presentations in 28 countries makes Paul an internationally renowned speaker, scholar, and consultant. He has served as a Senior Fulbright Research Scholar at the University of Frankfurt (Germany), a visiting professor at the Nanyang Technical University in Singapore, and has delivered lectures at two dozen Universities on three continents.  Dr. Schempp's cutting-edge research on expertise and engaging speaking style has made him a much sought after keynote for professional associations and corporate conferences committed to improving performance.  Clients include the American Society for Training and Development, BASF Corp., Buckhead Business Association, Cannon Financial Institute, Club Corporation of America, Conde Nast, General Electric, National Association for Sport and Physical Activity, National Institute of Education (Singapore), Professional Golf Association of America, Red Horse Racing (NASCAR), Society for Human Resource Management, Swiss Soccer Federation, USA Track and Field and Vistage.  Applying research to practice, Paul has designed performance programs for the Swedish Golf Federation, English Golf Union and Mexico National Golf teams.  He coaches several champions on the PGA and European professional golf tours.
