Her mission is to create thousands of real thought leaders who will change business and society with their ideas. A native New Yorker, Gibbins-Klein has lived and worked in the United Kingdom since 1991. She has worked with hundreds of business owners to get high quality books and articles into the market and establish market leadership. She regularly writes articles, comments in the print media, radio and television on writing and publishing strategies for executives who need to be thought leaders in their industry. An international speaker, trainer and consultant with 20 years in marketing, training and coaching experience, and over 100 clients who have written and published excellent books and articles quickly using the Book Midwife methodology, Mindy speaks to thousands of executives, business leaders and entrepreneurs each year about how to become a thought leader and turning expertise into enhanced credibility and more business. Gibbins-Klein is a member of the Professional Speakers Association in the UK and has been called “currently the most important and best female business speaker in the UK” by Rod Sloane, marketing expert and author of “121 Marketing Ideas to Grow Your Small Business.” Gibbins-Klein started her career as a sales trainer and presenter for Executone. She then started her own marketing consultancy and moved to the UK. Career highlights include designing and managing a full pre-sales call center and CRM function for Nortel Networks and the successful consolidation and outsourcing of global call centers, saving the company over $1M per annum. In 2001, she left the world of general marketing to focus on helping business leaders and entrepreneurs market themselves with good books, articles, blogs and speaking. Gibbins-Klein is the creator, editor and contributor to the Amazon bestseller, BusinessWise: Words of Wisdom for Small Businesses with Big Ambitions. She has also written many articles on thought leadership, writing and publishing and has a regular column in two business magazines. Her first book, A Dance in the Desert, led to her accreditation as an epilepsy volunteer with the largest epilepsy charity in the UK. Her latest book 24 Carat BOLD: The Standard for REAL Thought Leaders was released in September 2009 and has received excellent reviews from top thought leaders in marketing. Gibbins-Klein earned her MBA in International Business from University of Bridgeport and has a B.A. in Linguistics (faculty scholar) from McGill University.
