Entrepreneurship plays a central role in the study of economic theory, management and the dynamics of the business world. Until 1 July 2010 I was the DGA and director of the Creaal Group. The Creaal Group encompassed a number of subsidiary companies including i-design BV, Beeq BV and Sporty Chain BV. During the sale of the Creaal Group I acquired Eye-wear Europe BV. Eye-wear Europe BV is active in the optics market and since 2009 the online market leader in the Benelux. I run this company together with the young, ambitious entrepreneur Bernd Damme. Eye-wear was nominated for various prizes such as Thuiswinkel (Home-shopping) award, de Loey award and Sprout. I am a board member several Business Clubs. I regularly give lectures and as a guest lecturer am affiliated to various applied and academic universities. As a political advisor I am involved in giving feedback on new media and participate in a think tank. In August 2010 the book title "Raak" was published. I wrote a number of articles over various ICT themes for 'de Ondernemer', the economy section and the online portal of 'Wegener'
