He's owned 8 businesses to date, ranging from Chartered Accounting firms to public bars. Industries have spanned timber, kitchens and plumbing through to aerial topdressing and massage parlours (as an advisor - not a worker!). Martz has a sense of humour. This has kept him positive and upbeat in many not-so-positive environments. In enduring some aspects of business that others would have thrown their hands up in horror and given up - makes Martz a 'real-life' speaker and entertainer who can spell out the do's and don'ts - so his audiences can feel totally connected with his messages. Add to this mix his ability at having grown many businesses whilst raising his two sons as a solo father is a demonstration that work, pleasure and family commitment can all cohabitate.
