Imtiaz Ahmed

Hailing from the Garden City of India- Bangalore, an Instrument Engineer by profession Imtiaz has lived in the Middle-East for 23 years, and works for Yokogawa Bahrain as Regional General Manager.
His association started as a customer, but respect for the company drove him to change sides and he has been with them since 1988 with a short sabbatical. He was priviliged to work on diverse functions right from engineering to sales, services and senior management.
He is very excited with his latest assignment, leading an initiative called “Yokogawa Human Development Academy” which will allow him to use all his public speaking and leadership skills and experience.
Public Speaking Experience:
As a Toastmaster, achieved “Distinguished Toastmaster” status in 2003, Served as District 79 Governor in 2004-2005
Was 2nd Runner-Up at the District 79 International Speech Contest in 2001.
Organized & Chaired several conferences, was keynote speaker, conducted technical, judging and soft skills training
He received the “Hind Ratan” (Jewel of India) award in 2004 for service to Non-Resident Indians and his Motto in Life is
“Live to Learn and Learn to Live”
