Advocate Henk Botha Ph.D.NEVER pay too much, settle too low, or concede too quickly!
Dr. Henk Botha is a recognized authority on negotiations. Since 1983, he has been an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, independent management consultant, trainer, speaker, and author. He has presented seminars on negotiation skills in countries on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. A colleague once called him the "Negotiation Advocate", and the nickname stuck!
He is the author of "The Tough Negotiator" and has produced several audio and video programmes on strike management, labour negotiation and business negotiations.
As a practicing lawyer and former Executive Director of the Institute for Industrial Relations, Henk has taught negotiation skills and labour relations to executives in a multitude of industries. He has a dynamic and entertaining speaking style.
His awards and honours include: Bachelor of Law, LLB, Ph.D., Fellowship of the Institute of Administration and Commerce, and Chartered Human Resources Practitioner with the South African Board for Personnel Practice.
He is the former Executive Director of the South African Institute for Industrial Relations
The Mediation Training Institute International awarded him the status of Subject Matter Expert.
