Graeme Codrington
An international expert on generational interactions and the future of work For the last 10 years, Graeme has been a full-time consulting futurist and keynote presenter. He established himself as a firm favourite on the South African speaking circuit, and since 2004 has been developing an international profile. From 1 September 2008, he will be based in London, England. Whether delivering a high energy keynote address or an interactive one day seminar, Graeme is a versatile speaker and workshop facilitator, who prides himself on customising his content for each new audience. His well researched content is immediately applicable to many aspects of business, and his engaging, humorous and multimedia-driven style ensures the important messages stick. The breadth of his experience and research and his diverse academic and work background gives Graeme a unique perspective on the turbulent times we live in. He has five degrees from five different universities, in five different faculties, including commerce, arts, theology, and sociology. His doctorate is in Business Administration, with majors in leadership and future studies. Graeme's CV includes chartered accountancy at KPMG, IT boom entrepreneur, youth worker, consultant, professional musician, futurist, best-selling author and professional speaker. As co-founder and international partner of the consulting company, TomorrowToday, Graeme has access to a global network of researchers, experts, practitioners and presenters who can provide valuable follow up services to his clients. This group also ensures that Graeme is always cutting edge. TomorrowToday has permanent offices in South Africa and England, with associates around the world Graeme is the co-author of two best-selling books, "Mind the Gap" (2004) and "Mind Over Money" (2002), both published by Penguin. He is a prolific writer of articles, and has been published in many magazines and journals, and has a number of websites and blogs. As a visiting professor at South Africa's top two business schools (Wits and the Gordon Institute of Business Science), and a regular contributor to both the development and facilitation of business management courses, Graeme's academic standard, research quality and content are well respected. Yet, it is his ability to engage with his audiences, entertain while educating and his extraordinary talent for making complex issue simple to understand and apply, that has made Graeme a firm favourite with participants at all levels In the past few years, Graeme has presented to international audiences from almost every country in the world. He personally presents to about 100,000 people a year, sharing the platform with the likes of Neil Armstrong, Edward de Bono and Jonas Ridderstrale. By the end of 2008, he will physically have presented in the following countries: England, Wales, Ireland, Denmark, Portugal, Germany, France, Dubai, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Swaziland, South Africa, Mauritius, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, United States and Chile. Graeme has been married to Jane since 1991, and has three daughters, Amy, Hannah and Rebecca. His hobbies include reading, computer games, playing the trumpet, listening to music and running. If he had the time, he'd play more squash, paint and learn to play the bass guitar.
