Eileen BrownBlonde and brave Social Media Consultant
Eileen is an accomplished international speaker with a strong technical background. She started presenting to large audiences in 1998 when working for a Microsoft Partner and now regularly speaks on a variety of topics. She worked at Microsoft for 8 years, most recently managing the IT Pro Evangelism team. Her team started to use a wide variety of social media tools to engage the IT Pro audience in 2004. She now runs her own company, Amastra and specialises in social computing. She focuses on community consultancy, online branding, architecture and influencers. She is a technical expert in Microsoft Unified Collaboration tools (Exchange and Office Communications Server) and has expertise in Windows Server and Active Directory.
She is a key advocate for the advancement of Women in Technology and has spoken at events around the world on this topic. She speaks on a variety of social media topics which are delivered across the UK. Her book: ‘Working the Crowd: Social Media Marketing for Business’ is published by the BCS
