Award-winning author, positive communication expert, speaker, and coach Mary Claire O'Neal is a nationally known communication consultant, speaker, coach and author of the award-winning book, Becoming What You Want to See in the World. For almost 20 years, Mary Claire has been working with Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, national/international non-profits, and individuals in professional and personal development through consulting, worksops, keynotes, and coaching. She has coached a New York Times best-selling author, and one of her consulting clients was chosen by Fortune Magazine as one of the 100 Best Companies to Work For. Her book, Becoming What You Want to See in the World, has won three national book awards and has been translated into several languages. She is a Past President of the National Speakers Association/Kentucky Chapter and serves on their Board of Directors. Before becoming a communication consultant, her past experience included mental health educator, business owner and Equity actor. In 1986, she studied and worked with Anthony Hopkins at the Royal National Theatre of Great Britain. She has a B.S. (with Distinction) in Educational Psychology and English from Indiana University, and attended graduate school at the University of Notre Dame in English and Communication. Her book, Becoming What You Want to See in the World, has won a national Best Books Award, ForeWord Magazine's Book of the Year Award, and a national Indie Excellence Award. Foreign translations and publishing rights of her book have been sold in Latin America, The Netherlands, and India, and the English verison is distributed in over 25 countries.
