Thomas Burzler, CSP
We were blessed to have him with us as long as we did. I know that the German Speakers Association will be in shock for some time to learn of his death in a motorcycle accident this early August, 2012. Thomas was a superb speaker; he thrilled his audiences and was in the process of building a solid career for himself in the field of speaking. He presented in both English and German and was awarded his CSP in Anaheim in 2011. I had the wonderful honor to give it to him again in Munich at the German Speakers Association meeting in October 2011. His area of expertise was sales; he won a number of awards and accolades, including a Gold Teaching Award from the International Business School for his achievement as a trainer and speaker. But most importantly, Thomas will be missed for the person that he was. He was kind, excited about life, and constantly working to improve his craft. He was generous to fellow speakers and to anyone who asked for his help. I’m certain we didn’t thank him enough!
GSA will miss him, as will the entire Global Speakers Federation. And we offer him a blessing of peace. He was way too young to leave the art of speaking!
