The key idea is to have one repository for ALL GSF videos, revealed by the GSF website AND association websites. By having one repository, all associations can upload and reuse videos.
Draft category setup (by GSA):
- Member Portraits; Self-made videos from our members
- Reports; Videos shot by our camera crew
- Studio Talk; Studio videos
- Audio Reviews
Also, we could introduce a recognizable video element on all association websites. From a technical perspective, this could be a so called ‘widget’, a little piece of GSF software that could be embedded on all association websites with great ease.
It would also be nice to add a descriptive text to a video with the presenter names. As soon as the text is uploaded, it should be hyperlinked automatically because the system recognizes the names of our members. Also, the profiles of these speakers should have something like: ‘videos featuring Speaker x’.
So the objective is to integrate GSF TV into the website, and to make it available for association websites through widgets that can easily be integrated by association webmasters.
