The PSASA represents and co-ordinates the activities of the Professional Speaking Industry in Southern Africa. If you make your living through speaking or training then the Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa (PSASA) is for you. If you are doing this on a part time basis as a secondary income at the moment and would like to improve your skills and grow your business in these areas then please join the PSASA and see how we can help you to achieve your dreams.
History
We were officially registered as a non-profit organisation in 2002 We started functioning as a speakers association in March 2004 and we obtained candidate membership of GSF (then IFFPS) in March 2005. We became the 8th full member of GSF at our inaugural annual convention at Mount Grace on 21 April 2006.
Today
We are a full member of GSF (Global Speakers Federation) and have active Chapters in Gauteng (Johannesburg/Pretoria Metros), Cape (Cape Town) and KZN (Durban) all in South Africa. The PSASA’s geographical boundaries incorporate 8 countries in Southern Africa namely :- South Africa, Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho, Namibia, Malawi, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. We also invite all Professional Speakers and Trainers in the rest of Africa to join our association until they can form their own associations in their regions.
