PSA Holland

The Professional Speakers Association Holland is a small association but with a lot of
experience and flair.

In addition to our convention experience over the last three years, we are a growing
organization with a wealth of expertise among our members.

2000 - 2004 Hans Ruinemans joins NSA USA.

In the year 2000 the seed from which the PSA Holland would grow was planted. Hans Ruinemans becomes member of the American National Speakers Organization. He visits several conventions, is impressed by over 2.000 participants and is inspired by the comradery between professional speakers.

2005 Visit to Amsterdam by the World President of the IFFPS

During the summer of 2005 the idea of founding a Dutch guild of Speakers is discussed with two former presidents of the International Federation of Professional Speakers, Naomi Rhode and Paul Bridle. Naomi accompanied by her husband Jim, a former president of NSA USA, and Paul from the UK explain the rules and procedures and stimulate the small Dutch group to continue with their application.

The group is having a great time in Amsterdam, discussing topics, drinking Dutch Heineken beers
and having Chinese food in the middle of the Red Light District.

2006 The Founding Year of PSA Holland

Hans Ruinemans teams up with his old friend and stentor Paul ter Wal. Paul is action oriented and takes care of all the
necessary legal paperworks. With his support the founding of PSA Holland becomes a fact.

2006 Kick Off Meeting PSA Holland

During a 2006 Kick Off meeting the IFFPS President Robyn Pearce congratulates the new member country Holland.

Also present are the famous international speaker Frank Furness and Chris
Davidson from the United Kingdom. They share their knowledge as professional speakers with the Dutch audience.

2008 IFFPS Full Membership Declaration

In March 2008 the last step is made, PSA Holland receives the Full Memeber Association Declaration of the IFFPS during her first international convention in Amsterdam and becomes a full fletched member in the international speakers community.

2009 International convention in Antwerp/Belgium

In the Hilton Hotel in Antwerp a convention is held with participants from 8 different countries.

The Professional Speakers Association Holland is a small association but with a lot of experience and flair.

PSA Holland is the proud organizer of the Global Speakers Summit 2011.

A lively and very inspiring convention takes place in the Hotels of Orange. Randy Gage and
Philip Van Hooser (President of NSA) from the USA are among many top speakers.
