Recommendation by Martin Laschkolnig:
And it has been a blast ever since - I joined in 2007 and I can attribute much of my speaking knowledge and ability to the incredible openness and readiness to share of many seasoned speakers and legends of this business on both sides of the Atlantic ocean.
Well, I maybe brought some talent along as well.
My first convention was in San Diego in 2007 followed by the GSA Convention in Munich in September of the same year. Having seen the American Convention - I was impressed. But ok, they already had some 40 years to practise putting on an absolutely fabulous convention. But I was even more impressed what the amazing team around Claudia and Sigi managed to pull off in Germany. German thoroughness is maybe a stereotype, but here it was true. But the big surprise was that perfection was accompanied with kindness, high spirits and an ability to make one feel welcome that I haven’t seen in Germany too often.
So thanks to all the fabulous staff of the GSA office around Claudia and all the speakers serving the association who totally embraced the spirit of NSA founder Cavett Robert and the GSF.
I am happy and proud to be a member.
All the best & may you speak more and better. The GSF and its associations will help you do exactly that.
