The German Speakers Association (GSA) is the leading professional organisation for German speaking trainers, speakers and coaches. True to the motto “Yes, we speak! Professional. Prominent. History

Claudia Haider, Naomi Rhode & Sigi Haider
Spring 2005 Claudia and Sigi Haider went to the U.S. to find excellent American Speakers for a client. Whoever they talked to they all said: “If you want to see all the top Speaker in one place, get to the next NSA Convention”. So they flew home, registered and attended the NSA Convention 2005 in Atlanta. There they were overwhelmed by the supporting, giving and sharing atmosphere. They learned about the GSF and found out that in Europe there was only the PSA UK member of the GSF.

At the international reception Naomi Rhode already called them the founder of the German Speakers Association. Back home Sigi talked to many German Top Speakers, who liked to idea to be linked worldwide and learn from other cultures and different perspectives.

GSA Congratulations
So in September 2005 the GSA was founded in the famous city hall of Munich – supported by Paul Bridle (UK), Warren Evans (CAPS) and Naomi Rhode (NSA). Since then GSA gained about 100 members per year and is proud of not only the quantity, but the quality of their members.

What Members Say About GSA

Recommendation by Martin Laschkolnig:

And it has been a blast ever since - I joined in 2007 and I can attribute much of my speaking knowledge and ability to the incredible openness and readiness to share of many seasoned speakers and legends of this business on both sides of the Atlantic ocean.

Well, I maybe brought some talent along as well.  wink

My first convention was in San Diego in 2007 followed by the GSA Convention in Munich in September of the same year. Having seen the American Convention - I was impressed. But ok, they already had some 40 years to practise putting on an absolutely fabulous convention. But I was even more impressed what the amazing team around Claudia and Sigi managed to pull off in Germany. German thoroughness is maybe a stereotype, but here it was true. But the big surprise was that perfection was accompanied with kindness, high spirits and an ability to make one feel welcome that I haven’t seen in Germany too often.

So thanks to all the fabulous staff of the GSA office around Claudia and all the speakers serving the association who totally embraced the spirit of NSA founder Cavett Robert and the GSF.

I am happy and proud to be a member.

All the best & may you speak more and better. The GSF and its associations will help you do exactly that.

Martin
