CAPS helps members hone their skills at securing more business and in delivering their expertise. We do this through education, focused programming and networking at both the Chapter and National levels which has been designed by members for members. HistoryCAPS was founded in 1997 when the former Canadian chapters of the National Speakers Association partnered with the US-based NSA to create the Federation. Many of our founding members are long-time speaking professionals servicing the North American markets and our association continues to thrive in a partnership with NSA and the Federation Associations. CAPS Vision is: To be the association of choice for experts who speak professionally CAPS helps members hone their skills at securing more business and in delivering their expertise. We do this through education, focused programming and networking at both the Chapter and National levels which has been designed by members for members. It shows that you are serious about the business you have chosen to in for your career. Since becoming a member in 1999, my business has grown by leaps and bounds. The ideas I’ve received from chapter meetings and conventions have by far returned on their investment. I’ve met some of the warmest and most inviting people around that only really care about helping others. Page 1of 1

Recommendation by Cheryl Cran:
CAPS is a great resource for experts who speak professionally in Canada. I have been a member since 1997 and the association continues to attract experts and provide value to its members. I would recommend CAPS as a networking resource, a support resource and a learning resource.
