Welcome to the Global Speakers Federation!

The Global Speakers Federation is an organization of national speaking associations around the world.  Some of these not-for-profit associations have been serving the education and networking needs of professional speakers since the early 1970s! Our member associations are organized and managed with volunteer boards of directors and committees for the purpose of advancing the art and value of professional speakers.  Isn’t it good to know you are not in this profession alone?

We may have been around awhile but we are not stuck in the past!  Our membership is constantly growing with new faces and new associations from newly emerging markets.  These members are new to the organization – not necessarily to the profession.  Maybe that is you!  You have been out there working in this business for a long time and have just now realized, there is an established network of like-minded professionals who understand what you do.  Welcome to your community! What do we expect of you?  This organization was founded on principles of abundance.  We believe that by sharing with each other and caring about the success of our fellow members, we will build a stronger profession.  We expect you to share a few of your best practices and care about our shared profession.  This organization has a strong foundation of professional ethics.  All GSF members sign a code of professional ethics and work together to bring integrity to our profession and the work we do for those who hire us.  We expect that you will abide by ethical standards and respect intellectual property rights.

GSF member events are taking place every month somewhere in the world.  During these events members gather for cutting-edge information exchanges, camaraderie and networking.  These face-to-face events are supplemented by various forms of virtual events and gatherings of friends around the globe.  The member associations of the GSF provide conventions, workshops and chapter meetings in addition to publications, virtual events and web sites serving local markets.
