Where to buy this book

Review by Jennie Mustafa-julock on Oct 19, 2010

Late last year, I decided to start speaking as a way to market my personal and group coaching services. The first book that I bought to teach me the 101 was Jane Atkinson’s “Wealthy Speaker.” 10 pages in I knew that I didn’t want to dip my toe in professional speaking, I wanted to dive in head first!

Jane’s book is a crystal clear guide on everything you need to consider and do to get started in this exciting business. Her Ready-Aim-Fire approach ensures that you think through every step and hit the ground running. Her book taught me how to position myself as an expert, how to articulate my promise to potential clients, how to develop my initial marketing materials (and update them as I develop my platform skills), and all the ins-and-outs of this business. I love how she gives you the big picture and the nitty-gritty details in one swoop!

I highly recommend this book as the bible for professional speakers! I also recommend getting the accompanying workbook to ensure you apply every last drop of wisdom.
