Coffee and Tea are made with plane water, not bottled. Tests reveal harmful bacteria. Water served on airliners is not filtered and rarely tested. When independently tested, all kinds of bacteria are found.
Heating water to make the beverages is not likely to kill the bacteria. The water is heated only briefly and then only to the pressure altitude of 8,000-feet/2438 m. At that altitude the boiling temperature of water is much lower.
